Golf Journalists of Canada Player Bursaries

Each year since 2016, the GJAC has awarded deserving players with the Golf Journalists of Canada Player Bursary. The cash prize of $3,000 is bestowed on a golfer, after a vote of the membership, who exhibits strong play on the course, but also excellent character off the course and has shown they are deserving of financial support.

Female winners typically come from Symetra Tour and male winners from Mackenzie Tour-PGA TOUR Canada.

The GJAC Men's Player Bursary is proudly sponsored by Golf Town, while the GJAC Women's Player Bursary is sponsored by Mackenzie Financial.
